Singaporean doctor, 48, dies after diving in Bali

SINGAPORE – A Singaporean lady died after diving during Indonesia’s Bali island on Wednesday (Sept 6) morning.


Dr Wong Yu Yi had been during Blue Lagoon – located in eastern Bali’s pier city of Padangbai – with a organisation of divers, Indonesia’s BaliPost reported on Wednesday.

They were diving during a abyss of about 20m during 9.12am when she gestured for help. The dive personality led her to a surface, though she was comatose by then.

The 48-year-old was rushed to sanatorium though announced passed on arrival. Local military declined criticism when asked about a means of death.
