Saudi King bought 6 tonnes of products in Bali, spent RM100 million

DENPASAR, Bali: King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia finished his eight-day vacation in Bali on Sunday, Mar 12. How most did a sovereign and his environment of 1,500 spend on a island?

The court, including 25 princes and 14 ministers, requisitioned a series of lush hotels such as a St. Regis Bali Resort, a Mulia Resort Villas Nusa Dua, a Hilton Bali Resort, a Laguna Resort Spa Nusa Dua, and a Hotel Bvlgari Resort in Uluwatu, a place that is obvious for a Hindu sea temple.

The vacation was extended for 3 days.

Bali authorities pronounced a Saudi sovereign left a island with 16.6 tonnes of baggage, including reportedly some-more than 6 tonnes of internal purchases.

“We guess that Rp 300 billion (RM100.15 million) was spent during their holiday,” Bali Tourism Agency conduct Anak Agung Gede Yuniartha pronounced on Monday.

The volume includes hotel rooms, renting lush cars, visits to traveller spots and shopping, he added.

“We’ve seen a really certain mercantile impact from a King’s visit. He bought lots of normal Balinese handicrafts,” Bali Tourism Agency conduct Anak Agung Gede Yuniartha said.

Many internal spas and restaurants had revamped their premises in expectation of a stately visit. JAKARTA GLOBE
