Byron Bay lady Sara Connor was among several Australian prisoners in Bali’s Kerobokan jail who were yesterday awarded a one-month judgment cut for Christmas.
The Courier Mail reported Connor and her former boyfriend, Brit David Taylor, with whom she was convicted of a purpose in murdering a Bali military officer, was also awarded a one-month remission.
Connor did not attend a Christmas Day ceremony, to announce a remissions. But she did attend church on Christmas Eve in a jail.
The Governor of Kerobokan women’s prison, Setyo Pratiwi, pronounced Connor always participated in jail activities and never disregarded jail rules.
Connor is portion a five-year judgment for her purpose in a organisation assault causing a genocide of Bali military officer Wayan Sudarsa in Aug final year.
