Foodies should be gay to learn that a new food festival is entrance to Bali’s Jimbaran area this week.
The Beach Food Euphoria Festival will run during Kedonganan Beach from Jul 21 to 22.
A plan of a state-run Tourism Institute (STP), a festival will foster food internal to a area, says STP Nusa Dua Bali conduct Dewa Gede Ngurah Byomantara.
Kedonganan, a fishing encampment nearby a airport, sits on a northern finish of Jimbaran Bay and is famous for a uninformed seafood.
The beach is home to a Jimbaran Fish Market and is dotted with seafood warungs, that will offer a 30 percent bonus to festival-goers, says Byomantara.
Showcasing Balinese culture, a festival will be enlivened by a food competition, aptitude bartending, fruit carving, live song and dances, games, and an LED H2O drum.
To serve foster sustainability during a festival, sea turtle hatchlings will be expelled during a beach, he added.
“We wish this will turn an annual festival. This initial eventuality will hopefully get a certain response.”
