A NSW rugby joining village is in anguish after a much-loved actor died while on a holiday in Bali.
Anthony “Cav” Cavallaro, 29, a former University of Newcastle fullback and pledge boxer, died in sanatorium on Monday after he was discovered from a H2O in Kuta after an collision a day before.
Mr Cavallaro’s family, was in startle though his sister Maria Cavallaro pronounced they were “so proud” of his legacy.
“It is with a saddest of hearts that we announce a flitting of the son, brother, uncle and beloved friend,” she said.
Ms Cavallaro described her hermit as a “true champion” who had lightning-fast wit and kept others in stitches with his clarity of humour.
