Bali Pure strikes initial for 1-0 lead over Pocari in PVL Finals

Bali Pure struck discerning and shamed Pocari Sweat in true sets, 25-22, 25-19, 25-22 to get a 1-0 lead in a final turn of a Premier Volleyball League Open Conference Saturday during Filoil Flying V Centre.

Risa Sato, who was awarded as a league’s 2nd Best Blocker, handed a finishing blow with a discerning kill down a center of a Lady Warriors’ defense.

The Water Defenders, after removing in a margin of rejecting in a preliminaries, have now won 5 of their final 6 games including dual true victories over Creamline in a Final Four.

Bali Pure conduct manager Roger Gorayeb knows his group has now built adequate confidence, after their vibrated eliminations, as they are one win divided from a title.

“We’re assured and we’ll only gain on this win,” pronounced Gorayeb in Filipino. “We will go to a subsequent diversion with a psychological advantage.”

“Again we were roughly separated and it was a unequivocally formidable highway going to a championship.”

Aiko Urdas led a Water Defenders with 15 points while Jerrili Malabanan and Grethcel Soltones combined 14 and 10 points, respectively.

Elaine Kasilag had 11 points to lead Pocari while MVP Myla Pablo combined nine.
