LONG ISLAND CITY — A new rooftop pool opened final week in a shade of a Queensboro Bridge that offers cocktails, oysters and skyline views starting during $50 a day.
Profundo Pool Club debuted Thursday on a third-floor rooftop of a Ravel Hotel‘s new 10-story expansion during 8-08 Queens Plaza South, where swimmers can cold off in a 50-by-20 feet pool and loll on “Bali-inspired” daybeds.
The club’s bar serves cocktails, rosé and 15 beers on tap, while a dining menu includes “elevated” bar food like burgers and fish tacos, as good as sushi, lobster rolls and tender oysters that run $26 for a dozen.
Access to a bar starts during $50 for a nine-hour day pass, and visitors can also haven cabanas for dual people for $200, that includes a $200 food and libation credit.
The pool is one of the latest amenities to open as partial of a enlargement of a Ravel Hotel, which assembled a 10-story building adjacent to a strange building that scarcely doubled its sum size.
The enlargement also enclosed the Estate Garden Grill, an outside eatery and drink garden that non-stop in June, as good as 50 new hotel bedrooms and a 17,000 square-foot-ballroom.
